First published in 1979, JSM is one of the original 50 women who founded RWA in 1980. She has done a wide variety of things, including acting, singing, working in a DNA testing lab and designing jewelry. An inveterate traveler, she loves visiting exotic places. An avid amateur Egyptologist, she writes non-fiction on archaeological subjects as well. She married for the first time at 54 after being proposed to in a moonlit garden near the base of the Pyramids.
