Young necromancer, Alexis Hurricane, follows her late parents' legacy to become a superhero. After discovering an extraterrestrial threat coming for Alexis' powers, her guardian Esther, the Goddess of Illusion, forbids her from proceeding to become a necromancer heroine. Running out of options, Alexis must now rely on working along side her bestfriend and settle a deal with a shifty supervillain, and an elf, born with no superpowers, to help her reach her dream, while avoiding the dangerous, alien threats that the universe throws at her.
