With a handful of new clients and the help of Brent Mayfair, one of Gwens ex-students, the gals begin Two Sisters Pet Valet Services, something thats perfect for the Portland, Oregon pet owners whod prefer to stay inside while Fido and Spot get their business done. Unfortunately, someones got other ideas in mind for the two friends, and finding a very dead body in her kitchen sends Nora straight to a police interrogation room and Gwen into full-fledged detective mode.

Clearing Noras name is job number one for Gwen, and finding the killer before they strike again bring out the Miss Marple in her. Whoever did it had better watch out. Gwen Franklin has read every mystery by the grand dame of cozies, and she knows a thing or two about trapping a killer
