Tanya Michaels is the award-winning author of approximately thirty romance and women's fiction novels, which have been reprinted in a dozen languages and distributed worldwide. She loves writing romances because her life is proof that happy endings exist. (Her "commute" is one hallway long, and she gets to work in her pajamas!) She lives in Georgia with her very supportive husband, two highly imaginative children, and a Bichon Frise who has no idea she's a dog.

In 2003, Harlequin published Tanya's romantic comedy Maid of Dishonor, which was nominated for Romance Writers of America's prestigious RITA Award™ for Best First Book. Since then, she's garnered accolades from readers, reviewers, book-buyers and her peers. She's the recipient of a Published Maggie Award of Excellence, the two time winner of the Booksellers' Best Bet, and a former nominee for RT Book Reviews' Career Achievement in Series Romance. The perks of Tanya's job include traveling and speaking to other writers, meeting some of her own favorite authors, and watching television in order to "study plot structure."

Tanya currently serves as a Region 3 Director on the board of Romance Writers of America.
