​​Barbara J. Scott, an inspirational book editor for more than eighteen years, has recently returned to her first love - writing! Barbara's novella "I'll Be Home for Christmas" will appear in the upcoming ​Sleigh Bells Ring: Four Contemporary Romance Novellas set to release October 15, 2016 by Gilead Publishing. She has more than forty years of publishing experience, ranging from newspapers and magazines to inspirational books, and has written numerous novels, screenplays, and gift books. Among her many published works, Barbara is the co-author of the best-selling novel Sedona Storm, as well as the sequel Secrets of the Gathering Darkness, both published by Thomas Nelson.

After partnering with best-selling writers for the YA fiction line at Zondervan (HarperCollins Christian Publishing), Barbara accepted the Senior Acquisitions role at Abington Press to launch a new line of fiction. Many of her inspirational authors received starred reviews in Publisher's Weekly and Library Journal.

Currently, she is writing a new contemporary romance and also stays busy as an Editor-At-Large for Gilead Publishing, acquiring suspense, romantic suspense, thrillers, and mysteries.
