CAROLYN BAUGH holds a Master's and a Doctorate from the University of Pennsylvania in Arabic and Islamic Studies. She is now the Associate Professor of History and Arabic at Gannon University, where she is director of the Women's Studies Program, in addition to various scholarly articles and academic books she is the author of THE VIEW FROM THE GARDEN CITY.
