Since graduating from Old Dominion University with a B.S. in Health Sciences and a minor in Management, Jennifer Jaynes has made her living as a content manager, webmaster, news publisher, editor and copywriter. In 2011, she left the corporate world to care for her twin toddlers and pursue a career as a novelist.

Later that year, she published her suspense debut, NEVER SMILE AT STRANGERS, which quickly found an audience and eventually earned a place on the USA TODAY Bestseller's list.

To date, NEVER SMILE AT STRANGERS has earned the #1 spot (across all categories) in the Barnes & Noble's Nook Store, has graced the Top 5 in the mystery/suspense category in the Kindle Store numerous times, and has appeared multiple times in the Top 25 in the Kindle Store (across all categories).
