About the Author
Growing up in Nottinghamshire, England - beside Sherwood Forest - Daniel Pembrey loved to invent stories. Some he wrote down ... but before he knew it, a business career had taken over: financial analysis, an MBA and ten years spent in the business development team of a West Coast Internet company. These experiences would provide settings and ideas for his fiction.
Daniel is most drawn to psychological suspense stories - both thrillers and romances, or any good drama, especially one that involves a strong sense of location. He has set stories in Silicon Valley and Seattle, South Carolina and Luxembourg. Inspirations include D.H. Lawrence, Raymond Chandler and mystery writer Tony Hillerman. In 2008, he was awarded a residency at the Helene Wurlitzer Artists' Foundation in Taos, New Mexico.
When he is not writing, he loves to read, travel and meet interesting new people. He also writes articles for the London Times. To receive occasional updates and offers of free exclusive content, please visit his website.
