Dalia Roddy spent her early childhood in Germany and the Middle East, but grew up in San Francisco. She went to San Francisco State University, where she studied English, mathematics, and physics. Dalia and her husband owned a weekly newspaper for many years, where she worked as a journalist and photographer. They now spend our time surrounded by history in Europe and by their books and computers at their home in the northern California Sierras.
