About the Author

Kathy Lynn Emerson, Kaitlyn Dunnett, and Kate Emerson are all the same person.

She writes the cozy Liss MacCrimmon Mysteries as Kaitlyn, the Secrets of the Tudor Court historical novels as Kate, and everything else as Kathy. That includes children’s books, romance novels, the Agatha-award winning How to Write Killer Historical Mysteries, the Face Down Mysteries, featuring sixteenth-century gentlewoman and herbalist Susanna, Lady Appleton as the sleuth, the Diana Spaulding 1888 Quartet, and her latest series, the Mistress Jaffrey Mysteries, a spin off of the Face Down books.

She also maintains the online “A Who’s Who of Tudor Women” containing over 2000 mini-biographies of women who lived in England during the period 1485-1603.

Kathy lives on a Christmas tree farm in rural Maine with her husband and assorted cats.
