About the Author
Michelle Beattie began writing in 1995 after years of reading historical novels, mostly westerns. It took her twelve years and four complete manuscripts before she sold her first book, What a Pirate Desires, to Berkley. She lives in Alberta, Canada with her husband and two daughters. She enjoys reading, golfing, and spending time with family and friends.
