Before writing historical romance, Heather Grothaus (pronounced "grote-house") was a freelance journalist, with work featured in national and regional publications. She lives in Kentucky with her husband of thirteen years, their newborn son and two dogs. In her spare time (ha-ha), she enjoys playing piano and guitar, cooking, gardening, all types of music, attending renaissance festivals (in costume, of course), and trying to get her dogs to behave.
