About the Author

Award-winning author, Gail Gaymer Martin writes romance, romantic suspense, and women’s fiction for Love Inspired, Steeple Hill single title and, Barbour Publishing. She began writing long fiction in 1997 and sold in 1998. Today, Gail has signed over fifty-four fiction contracts and has nearly four million books in print. She has received numerous prestigious awards including a Carol Award for her romantic suspense A Love for Safekeeping and two RT Reviewers Choice Awards for Best Love Inspired. Her novel The Christmas Kite was optioned for a Hallmark movie and contributed to anthologies that appeared on the CBA bestseller list.

Gail is a cofounder of American Christian Fiction Writers. Gail is a keynote speaker and teaches writing at conference sacross the U.S. She has a Bachelor and Masters degree from Wayne State University, and before writing, she taught high school English and public speaking and was an instructor in English at Davenport University. She makes her home in Michigan.
