David Hewson’s series featuring the young Roman detective Nic Costa has been translated into many languages around the world, including Chinese, Russian and Japanese, and this year will appear in Italy too. A former journalist with the London Times, Sunday Times and Independent, he now writes full time. The fifth novel in the Costa series, The Seventh Sacrament, will appeare in the US in July 2007. His first book, Semana Santa, was filmed with Mira Sorvino.
