An award winning author of eight novels, dubbed ‘the queen of the contemporary Cornish novel’ by The Guardian, I was born in Massachusetts and after nine international moves I’m back in the United Kingdom with my husband and two mad cats. I made my first trip to Cornwall in 1989, bought my home there seven years later, and found my muse. My heart is forever in Cornwall, creating new stories.
