My mission as an author is to empower women through the written word. I like to tell authentic stories about women who face personal challenges to create better lives for them and their families.  I have worn many professional and personal hats but through it all I’ve been a writer, having published professional educational materials, essays, poetry, novels, and one memoir. I’m a founder of Southern Crescent Literature and Libations, an award winning independent author, and have been a featured author at book clubs, festivals, and other literary events. I was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. I enjoy reading, travel, spending time with family and friends, and genealogy research.
