Three talented authors bring back secondary characters from previous stories and delight readers with their own tales. Stephanie Laurens starts the anthology with LOST AND FOUND. Reggie Carmarthen, a childhood friend of the Cynster twins, is ready to settle down. He is not looking for a wild and seductive woman, but a bride who will give him a nice pleasant life. He bumps into Ann Ashford, a woman on a mission. Ann, a supporter of the Foundling Home, decides to locate the aristocratic father of a child to demand he take responsibility. Always shy, Ann exhibits great courage as she confronts her suspects. Reggie joins forces with her to identify the father and sparks of attraction ignite between them.

In the novella from Elizabeth Boyle, THE MATCHMAKER'S BARGAIN, a runaway miss stumbles upon the matchmaker's cottage. Accepting the matchmaker's hospitality, Amanda accidentally sets off a chain of events that change her life forever. She meets Jemmy, a war veteran with scars and permanent injuries from the war. A recluse, Jemmy finds he's interested in returning to the living after his encounter with Amanda. Jemmy aids Amanda as she tries to dodge the matchmaker. However, magic is sprinkled upon them and romance blossoms.

THE THIRD SUITOR by Christina Dodd tells of Lady Jessie, an heiress whose father despairs of her wedless state and issues an ultimatum -- pick one of three suitors, or he will. Trying to escape the clutches of one amorous suitor, Jessie crawls through the bushes and is discovered by Harry Chamberlain, Earl of Granville. Harry delights in the blunt and tactless beauty and finds she chases away the malaise that plagues him. He decides to help her evade her suitors while he tries to win her heart.

Ms. Dodd's clever tale shines with sparkling dialogue and a dash of suspense added. As always, Ms. Laurens delights readers with the touching tale of two people finding love in unexpected places. Those wanting a touch of magic will be pleased with Ms. Boyle's lighthearted tale.
