GOOD TWIN GONE COUNTRY is part of the Dynasties: Beaumont Bay series, which is a series that Jessica Lemmon shares with Jules Bennet. These two authors switch between writing books in this series, which I think is an interesting idea. For this particular book, we have a good girl named Hallie Banks who is trying to break out of her sister’s shadow and shine on her own. So she enlists the help of resident bad boy Gavin Sutherland to help her.

Since I haven’t read the other books in this series, I didn’t feel fully connected with the characters in the beginning. But I could relate to Hallie’s desire for something different. All her life she has been living in the shadow of her superstar sister, so it was nice to see her personal growth throughout this book.

There’s a nice music theme throughout this entire book, which I think sets it apart from others and makes it unique. I loved the details and enjoyed how the romance unfolded. Slow and sweet, this book will definitely sweep you off your feet!
