LORD ARES is the third book of the Lords of the Masquerade trilogy and Jade Lee saved the best for last. All three books featured strong heroines but in this final book Lee gave us a worthwhile male lead as well in Aaron. In the first book, LORD LUCIFER, the couple focused on the past, the second book, LORD SATYR, had the parties concerned with the future, while in this book, Aaron and Lilah concentrated on trying to make things better in the present for themselves and those around them.
This could be read as a stand alond book. In fact, my one criticism is that we did not see even a glimpse of the two couples from the first two books. which is the best part of reading a series. Hopefully, we will see more of these characters in related stories. I truly enjoyed watching the characters grow and find each other in the HEA of LORD ARES.
