Dugoni's legal thriller opens in San Francisco, with wrongful death attorney David Sloane in the final stages of a case regarding the defense of a corporation. Having won 14 cases in a row, he's used to hostile juries, and this one is no different. Sloane despises his client.

Sloane has something in common with CIA agent Charles Jenkins, as both share a terrifying nightmare. Oddly enough, the men are utter strangers. In both cases, the awful nightmares have continued into adulthood.

Meanwhile, in West Virginia, Tom Molia, a police detective, is investigating the suicide of a presidential advisor, which inevitably explains the link between Sloane and Jenkins in an international conspiracy.

If you're into amazing settings and well-crafted characters, Dugoni is the man to read. THE JURY MASTER is a bit long, but well-worth the reading time.
