After a return to his hometown, his life is about to get less lonely. Her isolated rural life outside of town was turned upside down by a hurricane. Lies break apart a family. What happens when two lonely people fall in love?
Bowie James' trip has him settling an old feud, connecting with his elderly and estranged relatives, and just so happens to find the love of his life in the process. Rowan Harper's life has been one of isolation, but when Hurrican Fanny comes along, it changes her life forever. The sparks are immediate and their mutual regard starts to turn into something more. Together, they find the love of a lifetime and overcome their pasts and fears.
Sharon Sala writes an emotionally charged love story of loneliness and finding the one for you and that hate can't win. Her Blessings, Georgia series is full of heartfelt emotions and laughter. I loved the characters and how they are truly kind and work to triumph over adversity. I'm anxiously waiting to see what happens in the next story about the guy searching for his family and mother. Ms. Sala even gives a shout out to herself which was a humorous surprise. As a fun aside, it was surreal to see my last name as one of the work crew's last names, as well. I thank you for that whether it was intentional or not. It gave me a thrill.

clashing with his birth father's family. Falling for
anyone—even a beautiful, kindhearted woman like Rowan, is
out of the question. There's too much heartache going
around, unless… Their love might just bring the hope and
healing to themselves and their families they all need. As
long as they're willing to give it a chance.
