The characters are hardworking with backstories that help to add to the current case and mesh the story together. In this fast-paced story that never slows down you will experience many unexpected twists, chemistry that is so hot it is sure to steam up the pages, corruption, brutality, and murder.
As you read this thrilling suspense you will feel like you are watching a police drama television show, but much more detailed and dramatic. Throughout this book you will get glimpses of characters from the previous novels which help to weave the books in this series together. The setting is truly spot on for a criminal investigation with the usual places like the police department, crime scene investigators, and the unusual spots like the scene of the crime. All of which help to make this novel an over the top suspenseful read that will be hard to forget.
