Charlie is a police cadet that is out with a group of his friends for a night on the town looking for a good time. This is where he meets an extremely sexy woman who tells him right away that she does not want anything serious. While he does not believe her, he still goes along with it. What Charlie does not realize is that when Ever Carmichael says something she means it. Over the next month, Ever stays very true to her word of sex only no strings attached. She is used to this kind of relationship because she grew up in a family where long term relationships was a bad thing. When Ever cuts Charlie loose and tells him she is done he is not sure how he feels. He is upset and not sure why. How could he get attached to a woman when all he ever wanted was no strings attached?

Charlie and Ever not only have a steamy love affair but they also develop a friendship as well. The characters are extremely thought out with very intriguing backstories that help make the plot line even more believable. I highly recommend DISORDERLY CONDUCT to romance readers who love a steamy swoony worthy book that is full of drama, cheating, love triangles and raw emotions.
