The Malloy family has deep roots in the vast roaming hills of their ranch in Montana and yet many of them have extended their reach far and wide creating some very interesting careers and successes along the way. The unspoken credo of this family seems to be the gift of freedom to be who you want. Dinner conversations with this family are as diverse as their personalities and gifts. And the Malloys are a very gifted artistic bunch.

So that's how Luke came to spend time at the Larsen ranch with Ingrid, her little sister Lily and ranch hand Mick. The Larsen's were a bit of a dysfunctional family. Father dead. Mother Nadine generally spending more time at the little town bars than at home with her children. Well you get the picture.

Be prepared to get sucked into one of the best dramas in LUKE which is undoubtedly one of the best stories written by R.C. Ryan and that's saying a lot. I never pass up any book written by Ryan.
