Packed full of some interesting characters, GRILLING THE SUBJECT will surely keep your attention, as you cannot believe the surprises Gerber packs into this mystery. There is always some major conflict for the main character, but Jenna has more then most sleuth. I feel the storyline is great and kept me captivated to finish it as fast as I could.
In the fifth book in the Cookbook Nook Mystery series a Wild West Extravaganza is visiting the town and everyone is excited about the festivities. That is until someone turns up murdered! In Jenna's father's neighborhood, there are some neighbors that some people can do without. Including her father. But does that mean he would result to murder? Well, it looks like he is their number one suspect. Can Jenna figure it out before it is too late while trying to sort out some unexpected life changes of her own?
After reading this fun mystery I am looking forward to next one in the series to find out what other investigations Jenna can get herself into as well as finding out what the next step in her life will be!
