All people struggle with identity. People have an inner feeling about who they are but what is visible on the outside doesn't always mess with that personal image. Some folks just don't bother worrying about what others think -- but some are firmly enmeshed in their public persona. Candidly not sure which one has it tougher. Sierra West and Ace Thompson are going to have to figure out just what type of people they are and hopefully find a good path to a happy future. Perhaps together or not.

Ace is the owner of the towns bar -- the son of the local pastor. Already you begin to see a story in that career choice. But Ace decided to return home to Copper Ridge so there had to be some part of this guy looking for the serenity that small town living can provide. Sierra West grew up with that proverbial silver spoon. She was a rancher's daughter and knew her way around animals. But her experience with friendships was lacking.

Ace and Sierra would make quite an odd couple -- or would they?

Ace reluctantly gives Sierra a job when she is scarily out of options. This arrangement is on the face an uncomfortable one for them. Ace is not doing it out of the goodness of his heart. Sierra isn't coming on board with any idea that this is a good career choice for her. But each one of them is going to learn a lot about themselves and each other. Both Ace and Sierra are good people with pasts that are haunting them and making them reluctant to take a step into a future with a relationship. They both have a great capacity for friendship and their love and devotion to their friends make each of them a good bet.

Now it's just a matter of time before Ace and Sierra realize that they too can have a wonderful relationship built on this dare we say newly built friendship.

Maisey Yates loves to tell stories that involve matchings that have you wondering and yet somehow they begin to make sense.
