This is quite a lovely collection on knit hats that can be easily produced by most knitters. There are a few that would require more experienced knitters—those that can tackle cables, intarsia and charts. I consider myself an accomplished knitter, but even for me charts are a new challenge. That's one of the reasons I like this book. I used my age old requirement for purchasing a craft book I could easily find at least three or four projects I would immediately like to knit and several others that look promising.

What I really like about this collection is the varied weights of yarns used to produce some really beautiful hats. I often purchase yarns without any real project in mind—sigh—don't we all. So with MARGEAU CHAPEAU I will now be able to hit my stash.

With the inclusion of intarsia hats MARGEAU CHAPEAU will also enable knitters to use up some of those odd skeins.
