By the end of the story I was so invested in the tale I was turning pages as fast as I possible could without missing anything because each and every word in this novella is intrinsic to the storyline and plot. It is important that no clue is overlooked.
D.D. is giving a speech to a group of aspiring crime novelists. Her task is to tell them what her job as a Boston detective entailed. Boy did they get their monies worth.

As I said before, THREE TRUTHS AND A LIE by Lisa Gardner cements my admiration for this extraordinarily talented crime novelist. I did a review of her latest full length novel FIND HER. Trust me these are two stories that should not be overlooked. Fabulous. Riveting. Incredible. Lisa Gardner is a gem.
