Listen you can't blame a guy for trying. Mitch Weston was just thinking of ways to help his longtime friend and first love Andi solve a few niggling problems. He never thought his ingenious plan would add to Andi's issues. But that's a guy for you.
Actually Mitch is a policeman and his job is to read people and analyze situations. So it is kind of comical he can't seem to do that in his personal life—and especially where Andi is concerned. I guess love just clouds a person's instincts.
So in THE LAWMAN'S CHRISTMAS PROPOSAL we are faced with an ongoing dilemma that appears to have no end and certainly no easy remedy. But Mitch is determined to get to the bottom of why Andi seems so distraught. Sure her husband's sudden death leaves her with expected grief, and now she is a single mom. But what Mitch can't understand is that Andi has a great support group and yet she seems determined to distance herself from family and friends who want to be there for her and the kids.
THE LAWMAN'S CHRISTMAS PROPOSAL by Barbara White Daille at first glance seems like a silly plan gone awry but it really is a story about having the courage for new beginnings. Asking for help may seem like a weakness to some but it should be looked at as a comfort.
In Cowboy Creek both Mitch and Andi are up against well- meaning friends and family who envision a future for the two of them together. Add a grandfather who has become quite deft at matchmaking and you have all the makings for a delightful romantic comedy.
Barbara White Daille does a fabulous job of entertaining for any season with THE LAWMAN'S CHRISTMAS PROPOSAL which is relevant all year round.

A husband for Christmas?
Mitch Weston's back in Cowboy Creek, and self-proclaimed matchmaker Jed Garland has his single granddaughter Andi on his mind. Mitch is a lawman, good with the little ones and easy on the eyes. He and Andi were high school sweethearts, for heaven's sake! Why can't they see they're perfect for each other?
Because Andi already lost one husband to a dangerous job, and now she's all about playing it safe, for her sake and her children's. Being a cop is everything to Mitch. After discovering Jed's plan, Mitch and Andi come up with their own: they'll pretend to get engaged and then break up due to irreconcilable differences. Jed's got his work cut out for him—because this match needs a Christmas miracle!
