At times the title of a book seems to be almost frivolous, and so it could cast doubt on the strength of the story. A BILLIONAIRE BETWEEN THE SHEETS is a strong, fabulous, sexy, raw, comical and strangely addictive story that alternately has you smiling and bringing tears to your eyes. A powerfully entertaining marvel with some wonderfully enjoyable twists and turns as we watch Katie Lane's characters evolve.

A BILLIONAIRE BETWEEN THE SHEETS is basically about three hillbilly brothers Deacon, Nash and Grayson Beaumont-- at least that's how they see themselves. One is a visionary with great plans to develop condos with great scenic views. The other two brothers are vastly different but equally interesting and more complicated than what seems at first glance. Most important is they are a terrifically cohesive band of brothers.

Their sort-of-cousin, Olivia, comes for a surprise visit to their home in the swamps. Olivia has an agenda: she wants to buy the three brothers' shares of her uncle's company. This company is her life, and now without any real family, this is all she has left. It all seems straight forward. She wants the stock, and the brothers need the money. In fact, Deacon Beaumont has long dreamed of being a rich man.

Ah, but does money make you a rich man?

Katie Lane has definitely outdone herself. Olivia Harrington is quite a creation -- a strange, easily distracted, young woman who thinks in terms of underwear. Her dialogue is guaranteed to crack you up. Add to that the three brothers who live up to their hillbilly image even though they obviously have many hidden talents and are so well spoken. Again a conflict between image and reality. Glorious. It's not all fun and games in A BILLIONAIRE BETWEEN THE SHEETS. Katie Lane added a bit of corporate espionage to this already page-turning joy.

I loved A BILLIONAIRE BETWEEN THE SHEETS. If this is an example of the writing of Katie Lane then I am on the search for more. Katie Lane has garnered herself a fan. A BILLIONAIRE BETWEEN THE SHEETS is earmarked to be dog-eared for sure.
