Demetrius is determined to remain aloof with Zoe, but struggles as he gets to learn the true her, that part of her that she keeps hidden from the world. Zoe is such a caring character, even though she runs away from problems in her efforts to protect those she loves. With a magnificent setting, I fell under the spell of Demetrius and Zoe, and found myself willing them on to find a way to be together. THE PRINCE'S CHRISTMAS VOW by Jennifer Faye is a modern day fairytale that tugged on my heartstrings and I highly recommend it.
