Unfortunately, Catriona's uncle has another plan for his innocent niece. He dissolves a marriage contract between his daughter, who has the same name, and Laird McCallum. So when Hugh McCallum comes to claim his bride, the Earl of Abercoyle dishonors the contract, places Catriona's to sleep in his daughter room, and send his daughter away for a couple of days. Catriona is terrified at first and then livid. She keeps insisting she is the wrong girl, but the stubborn Laird doesn't believe her. At first, Hugh cares only for what their marriage can do for his people, but as he starts to know Catriona, he can't control his attraction and heart.

THE WRONG BRIDE is a great start to the Highland Weddings Trilogy series as Gayle Callen creates an amazing story of a kidnapped wrong bride and a stubborn Scottish groom. This is a page turner historical romance with fun, adventures, mistaken identity, and irresistible attraction.
