SNOWFLAKE BAY is book two in The Brides of Blueberry Cove series, which is quickly becoming a favorite series of mine. Blueberry Cove is in Maine and Christmas is coming along with Hannah and Calder's wedding. Hannah's sister, Fiona, is going crazy putting all the details together for her sister so she can have her perfect day. What she hadn't planned on was running into Ben Campbell, her teenage crush. Ben has been her brother Logan's best friend forever and Ben has always treated Fiona as a pesky little kid. His nickname for Fiona is Fire Plug and she has always cringed whenever he's called her that. She thought she was over all of that now that she is a grown woman, but one look at Ben and she realizes that couldn't be further from the truth.

Ben has never thought about Fiona as anything more than Fireplug Fi until one day, as he is watching her remove her big coat, what he sees knocks him for a loop. Holy cow! How did he not notice her sexy curves and beautiful smile before? At first, he tries to ignore his feelings but all that does is make him think about her more. Will they ever be more than friends?

There are many laugh out loud moments in SNOWFLAKE BAY, especially between all the McCrae siblings. Donna Kauffman gives you such a well-written story of the McCrae's that you can't help but feel as if they are old friends of yours as you are reading. For me, SNOWFLAKE BAY is a fun story but also at times, emotional and for one afternoon, it allowed me to escape to a wonderful small town and get involved in the McCrae's lives and business. Be prepared to laugh and cry, sometimes at the same time. I love when an author can do that to me, and I can't wait until the next book, STARFISH MOON, comes out in April 2016. Finally, we will get to hear Kerry's story.
