Piper struggles with her relationship with her controlling mother, and does not see how beautiful she is, both inside and out. Joe has suffered heartbreak both as a kid, then as an adult, and has created a hard shell to protect himself. With the help of the town and its festival, we get to know more of the locals, and learn about love, friendship and being true to yourself. A MOMENT ON THE LIPS by Jennifer Faye is a heartwarming, contemporary romance that will make you smile, and I highly recommend it.
