Preston Armstrong has secrets of his own, but the strong feelings that Amie brings out in him makes him want to open up, especially spending a week alone with the lovely woman. He has to figure out what to do when his past threatens their future. A future and family that he finds he wants more than anything.
PREGNANT BY THE COWBOY CEO is a charmingly sweet yet highly emotional story with just the perfect amount of sizzle. This is book 3 of Catherine Mann's Diamonds in the Rough series. Despite being a creative and successful woman, Amie had a lot of insecurities. I think it had quite a bit to do with her parents and their self- centered parenting skills. Preston certainly isn't perfect. He's a workaholic and tends to make a lot of relationship mistakes. It was obvious that they were meant to be together but there were a few times that I wanted to shake them, but they got their HEA so it all worked out. I did love Amie's grandmother, who was a wise woman who wanted her grandchildren happily settled before she dies and wasn't beyond using a bit of forceful matchmaking to boost them along. As I said this is a sweet story, with a touch of sadness that only love can pull you through. It sizzles, and that is very much Ms. Mann's very own style. This is going onto my to-read again shelf.
