The second book in the SWAT series, WOLF TROUBLE follows Senior Corporal Zander Riggs and his elite pack of alpha wolf shifters. The group of men are badass, dangerous, and extremely sexy. Xander was one of my favorites from the pack. When HR decides that they need to be more diverse, they request the team take on a woman.

Of course, this wouldn't be such a big issue if not for the fact the rest of the team are wolf shifters and they want to keep that information to themselves. So when they end up recruiting their first female member, only one person fits the job: Khaki Blake.

Khaki is just as skilled as the men, maybe even more so in some instances, but she is still a relatively new wolf. She never knew others existed like her so she has hidden her instincts rather than honed them. With the help of Xander and the rest of the boys, Khaki learns more about her wolf side.

Tyler balances the presence of each of the characters well. This is a large group but there's enough page time for each to entice readers with their personality. It also doesn't harm the romance in any way. In terms of the suspense and romance balance, I would say that there's a slight tip in favor for of romance, but there is still enough interesting suspenseful bits that kept me engaged.

I'm already invested in the other characters so there's no question that I will be checking out the other books in the series. For something fun, sexy and suspenseful, Paige Tyler's SWAT series is the place to look.
