A WEDDING ON PRIMROSE STREET is all about daughters and mothers and how they always agree and disagree. Anne is a wedding planner, a job she has been doing for years and she is very good at it. That is until she tries to plan her daughter Laney's wedding. Somehow Anne has turned in to Momzilla. She is just trying to make the day a special event that Laney will never forget, but her daughter has other ideas. She wants to run away to Las Vegas and tie the knot!

Roberta is the owner of a beautiful Victorian, Primrose Haus, in Icicle Falls and has been hosting events there for over thirty years. Her grown daughter, Daphne, is understandably bitter about weddings. She is about to be divorced for the third time. The two have a strained relationship which heats up when Daphne moves home to help her mom in the family business. At first, I wanted to slap Daphne with the way she treated her mom. Roberts is only trying to help her and Daphne doesn't appreciate her at all.

A WEDDING ON PRIMROSE STREET is filled to the brim with family, new beginnings, love and hope. A heart tugging and wonderful tale in Icicle Falls, and I loved it. This romance makes you believe in happily ever after and all that people can do if enough prayers are made. The conflicts between mothers and daughters is so well written and very easy to relate to. Sheila Roberts has a real gift of making all of her characters so relatable and real to the reader. The positive female friendships make you want to go out and make some new best friends. As always, another wonderful story from Sheila Roberts! This tale should become a delightful Hallmark movie very soon!
