Jacee is a beautiful coyote shifter and although her kind is hated, she finds herself falling for one of the SEALs. She is nearly shocked speechless when he comes to her and admits he knows what and who she is. Her very presence helps Micah calm his nightmares and gain some control, but a shocking revelation brings him close to death and only she can save him.

Wow. CHASE THE DARKNESS is filled with hot SEALS and a lot of action. There's also romance and steamy sex. If you are a reader of J.D. Tyler's Alpha Pack novels, you've seen hints of Micah and finally this is his story. He knows Jacee is his mate right away and though she is not really comfortable (I'll let you find out why when you read the book) she is of course drawn to this tortured man. I thought it was kind of funny when his sister and other team members all question if he is sure that Jacee is his mate but won't say more. I knew an explosion was on the way. I loved the way they were together, equally protective and burning up for each other. Put all the action (in and out of the bedroom), the team camaraderie (my personal weakness), add in a couple falling in love despite everyone and everything, and it makes for a very entertaining read. Author J.D. Tyler rarely disappoints and CHASE THE DARKNESS goes in the winner column.
