I have enjoyed this series from start to finish. Of course there were a few hiccups along the way but I loved Rachel and all her cohorts to the end. So much goes on in THE WITCH WITH NO NAME. Loose ends are being tied up and decisions must be made. As we watch Rachel's struggles and adventures, readers are treated to lots of emotions and strife. Friends and lovers have been gained and lost throughout this series and now it has come to the end of the ride. Kim Harrison has kept this series moving at a good pace as well as keeping readers eagerly awaiting Rachel's next adventure and this book brings it all to a head.

THE WITCH WITH NO NAME picks up soon after the last book ended. Rachel and all are working through so many things. I was both happy and sad to read this book. This is a series that I picked up on a whim and fell in love with. Rachel is a strong woman that fights hard for so long. Through it all we have gotten to watch her grow and learn. I enjoyed the way the series ended and I hope that this is not the last time we get to visit with Rachel and her cohorts many of whom endeared themselves to this reader. I am glad that Rachel finds a happy ever after.

While I adored Kristen and loved him and Rachel as a couple, I am happy with whom she ends up with. He has proven himself to be a good man underneath it all. Not only do we get to watch Rachel strive for her happy ever after but Jenks, Ivy and Al all had things to say and do in this story. I love Jenks and Ivy. The friendship between the two of them and Rachel is strong and stays that way throughout the series. Every new book felt like I was coming back to visit with family. I can even say that Al grew on me. Even after all his tricks and such he really is not such a bad demon after all.

Kim Harrison does a good job of mixing the angst and the action with the emotions and friendships in this book. I found myself lost in Rachel's world quickly and hated to see it end.

Book Summary

It’s Rachel Morgan’s ultimate adventure . . . and anything can happen in this final book in the New York Times bestselling Hollows series.

Rachel Morgan has come a long way from her early days as an inexperienced bounty hunter. She’s faced vampires and werewolves, banshees, witches, and soul- eating demons. She’s crossed worlds, channeled gods, and accepted her place as a day- walking demon. She’s lost friends and lovers and family, and an old enemy has unexpectedly become something much more.

But power demands responsibility, and world-changers must always pay a price. Rachel has known that this day would come—and now it is here.

To save Ivy’s soul and the rest of the living vampires, to keep the demonic ever after and our own world from destruction, Rachel Morgan will risk everything. . . .
