. Lady Eve is humiliated and heartbroken when Ben leaves her at the altar on their wedding day. After two years Lady Eve is ready to move on with her life and agrees to marry Sir Jonathan; however Ben Shows up after two long years abroad and still in love with her and doesn't want to lose Lady Eve again.

Lady Eve knows Ben is nothing but trouble; still she can't stop wondering if she is making the right decision to marry Sir Jonathan because Ben is trying so hard to prove to Eve that they belong together.

THE BEST OF BOTH ROGUES starts with a jilted heroine, a mischievous hero and a questionable fiancé...very interesting! Lady Eve is a really sweet heroine that forgives too soon. I had expected that she would give a harder time to Ben and Jonathan. In the middle of the book there is a twist in the story and a danger that didn't make any sense to me why the hero and heroine need to be in danger, and then another twist about Ben's problem. I would have preferred the author have kept the plot like the beginning of the book lighthearted, fun and interesting.

The middle of the book was slow pace and I kept hoping something interesting would happen, of course towards the end the story became more engaging. Overall THE BEST OF BOTH ROGUES is an enjoyable read with charm and humor.
