Pamela Atwater has devoted her life to her career, working for Dane Bergman. Having helped her and her mother by giving her a job when she needed it the most, Pamela has worked hard to become the most efficient, organised assistant that is humanly possible, knowing what Dane needs and should do, even before he does. Even if that job also means she helps him move along the girlfriend queue who will never get what they are looking for - Dane's love.

Naturally Pamela recognises that Dane is unbelievably attractive but she would never cross the line in that department, not that Dane would even dream of looking at her like that. To him she is just good old reliable Pam, always there to help him when he is in a bind, and boy is he in a bind this time.

Dane Bergman has worked extremely hard to overcome his troubled childhood, and is determined to forget his past. With a new club opening and a persistent protestor that seems to have a personal grudge against him, he has a lot on his plate. The last thing he expects to discover is that he has a four year old daughter, Dani, that he knew nothing about. And that he is all that she has left in this world, after her mother died in a tragic accident. Thank god he has Pamela, who seems to have a way with his little girl, even if he is struggling with his own child.

The more time Pamela spends with Dani and Dane, the harder it is for her to remain detached. Determined for Dane to forge a bond with his daughter, Pam forces Dane to spend one month with his little girl on his private island with no distractions. But as Pamela finds herself being dragged into the plan, things get a lot more complicated. For Pamela is coming out of the shadows, and Dane is seeing her for the beautiful, caring, intelligent woman that she is. But Dane does not do forever and that is what Pamela deserves. With a headstrong child, dangerous adventures, sexual tension, and work nightmares, will Pamela be forced to walk away from Dane for good?

THE MILLIONAIRE DADDY PROJECT by Roxanne Snopek is an entertaining contemporary romance that gripped me from the beginning to the end. The character of Pamela is intriguing and I really connected with her and the situations she found herself in. Dane is a sexy hero who has always kept a part of himself closed off, and it was a joy to watch him try so desperately to open up to his daughter, Dani. Roxanne Snopek wrote the situations surrounding parenting and grief in such a tender and compassionate way, and my heart went out to all of the characters.

THE MILLIONAIRE DADDY PROJECT by Roxanne Snopek has got passion, confusion and plenty of misunderstandings, which make for a truly enjoyable modern romance.
