Bitter and angry, Dom embraces the solitude that Bildenstone provides, vowing to keep his distance from his neighbours. That is until he meets Theodora Branwell.
Theo has lost much to the war. Having travelled with her father during all of his campaigns, Theo is no stranger to the life of a soldier. Falling in love with her fiance, Marshall, was the happiest time of her life, and his death almost destroyed her completely. Her father's death only compounded her loss.
The only light in her life is a little boy, Charlie, whom she has raised from a baby, and the other orphans that she has rescued along the way. Taking them back to England, Theo plans to set up a home and school for her precious charges. But Theo had not planned to be so attracted to her new landlord, Dominic Ransleigh. A true friendship blossoms as they learn more about each other, and Dom loves Theos honesty and positive spirit.
As passion bursts to life between them, they both vow that marriage is not an option for either of them, and try to remain friends. But when somebody threatens to expose Theos secret, she rushes to London to find her only option of protection. Will Dom find Theo in time to convince her to trust him, or will it be too late? And can Theo open her heart again and risk falling in love?
THE RAKE TO REVEAL HER by Julia Justiss is another hit for this author and I could not put it down. I adored Theo and her unconventional honesty, and I admired her strength of character after all that she had been through. Her personality revitalised Dom almost instantly when they met, and it was a joy to see Dom step into his new life with a lighter spirit. Their need for each other is steamy and sexy in all of the right places, and I could not wait to see how it would end.
THE RAKE TO REVEAL HER is part of a series but can be read independently, although my advice is, buy the set - you won't regret it!! THE RAKE TO REVEAL HER by Julia Justiss is another hit from this talented author, and I can't wait for the next release.
