She fronted for a group of investors that looked to that land for a resort and the ghost town was an important component to the plans. This deal was tremendously vital to the welfare of her father's company. It was sink or swim time for their family corporation.

Cord prided his privacy on his ranch. It had truly become his sanctuary against harsh critics. Cord knew Whistle Stop was in dire need to revitalization. But couldn't accept that he would have to individually sacrifice so much. The town was certainly voicing their concerns that this resort deal could save them from becoming a ghost town, like the one on Cord's land.

Alexis was diligent in her efforts to get the resort deal accomplished. But somewhere along the way this high powered intelligent woman was falling in love. Not only with this special town and its people but mostly with this tough guy with a tender heart and soul.

In the end someone was going to be hurt and disappointed -- the question is who.

A MOMENT TO LOVE was my introduction to Jennifer Faye. This book is number one in her Whistle Stop Romance series which truly warms my heart. A MOMENT TO LOVE is filled from front to back with tons of lovely moments of heartwarming dialog, sass and sex as well as plenty of romance to satisfy the most fastidious reader. I eagerly await the next book in this series. Jennifer Faye has gone far beyond sweet romance with A MOMENT TO LOVE. This story has great substance and is sure to win Faye many new fans. I look forward to revisiting all the folks in Whistle Stop.
