Despite the way they try not to lovers, Chelsea and Bash find themselves heating up quick. Burton creates such a well-balanced romantic story for these two that it's impossible not to love them. My favorite thing about this book is the confidence that both Chelsea and Bash have throughout the book. Although neither are sure about this fling they have going on, their ambitions and dreams are never once clouded. I especially loved how Chelsea was able to tell Bash her feelings without ever being self-conscious or shy about what she wanted from him. With this, Burton injects the story with realism that hits the heart of readers. Chelsea and Bash really do have a perfect romance.
