So off she goes to London to help escort two people back to America. She doesn't know why the people need to be brought back or what the danger is. Even with the lack of information she is not shocked to find herself and one of the people she is escorting attacked almost as soon as they land.
Things quickly get more dangerous and a man from her past seemingly comes to her rescue while a man that could be her future kills someone to protect her.
As events escalate, Jamie doesn't know who to trust and who is working with the same side she is and just what that side is.
THE KILL SHOT is the second in the Jamie Sinclair series by Nichole Christoff and once again she has written a great book. Jamie is not a super woman but smart, strong and determined. She is a character you soon respect and understand. She is driven and determined to make the right decisions even when they are the hard ones.
I really enjoy Nichole Chistoff's books and even though THE KILL SHOT is only her second it isn't her last. Jamie has a bright future and let's hope she can make the right choices where Barrett is concerned. I'm most definitely on team Barrett. Though there is hope for romance, this is a mystery/thriller with action and twists showing that you can't always trust those closest to you.
THE KILL SHOT is another hit by Nichole Christoff, here's hoping for many more.
