Max is considerate and cherishes Sara. He always joins Sara for the 4:00 a.m. feeding, just watching with adoration. After, he warmly wraps Anna in her carriage and takes her on his morning run. Now Sara can have an hour alone and some much needed rest.
Their first date night since Anna was born is spent at a restaurant near home, George, Sara's gay assistant offeres to baby sit and sends pictures to them all during their meal. Their time spent together is hilarious and everything that can go wrong does. A waiter spills Alfredo sauce and cold water in Max's lap, an overload of breast milk soaks through and forms two large rings on the front of Sara's red dress and the valet hits a wall with their car Not a great first night date.
Time passes and Max's brother, Niall arrives to meet Sara and Anna. He offers to baby sit and they get to return to THE RED MOON, their private sex club. Their favorite place and things get HOT, very HOT.
I am a devoted Christina Lauren fan and they never disappoint. I love all their books and fall in love with every leading man. Max is no exception. Hunky and hot but oh! so sweet and loving. Sara, or as Max calls her, Petal, is a wonderful mother, a devoted wife and will return to her job, where she will do everything efficiently as usual. She is smart, strong, and much loved. Our introduction to Niall, a very gentle "baby whisperer" gets our attention and we look forward to more about him coming soon. Terrific job girls. I can't wait. You are awesome!
Book Summary
The seventh work in the New York Times and #1
internationally bestselling series that started with the
Beautiful Bastard, Beautiful Stranger, and
Beautiful Player novels. Featuring all the
Beautiful
characters…plus one tiny new addition to the
group.
In Beautiful Stranger, finance whiz
Sara Dillon met the irresistibly sexy Brit, Max Stella, at
a
New York City club. Through the series we’ve watched them
learn to balance commitment with their less than
private brand of playfulness. In Beautiful Beloved,
Max and Sara take it to the next step. But the question
is:
Will they be able to find a balance between the wild
sexcapades they aren’t ready to retire, and the demands of
parenthood that come along with their new Beautiful bundle
of joy? Parenthood: it’s not for the weak of heart.
