Iona Campbell plans to return to Scotland after many years away, something has drawn her to return, but finds it is too late. Her father has died in a mysterious car accident. HOT BLOODED is enchanting, intense, and steaming hot. It is the perfect continuation of author Donna Grants' Dark Kings Novels. There is so much happening with this book; I'm not sure where to begin... Laith and Iona of course are the mainstays of HOT BLOODED. They are exactly right for each other, drawn together. But both are wary; she of love and he of getting involved with a human. It doesn't take long for them to realize they are destined and both learn to love it.

Also included in HOT BLOODED are the usual troubles with the Dark Fae, one mysterious bad guy that may or may not be the banished Dragon King Ulrik, Rhi still unsure whether she is now a "good guy" or a "bad guy" (and I admit I miss her popping in and happily antagonizing Con) are just a few moments that will keep you glued to the pages. There is also one part that has me wanting Rhys in the next book so Ms. Grant can clear up his problem, read HOT BLOODED and find out what that is. I also want to learn more about their employee Lilly. As I said there is much to see in this one and I hope much more to come in this electrifying series. On my TRA shelf for sure!
