Trey Sheenan's finally released from prison after four years for an accidental death while defending a pregnant woman being beaten by her boyfriend. Somewhere along the journey McKenna relives all the reasons she both loves and fears the young man she fell in love with when she was only fifteen. Trying to prove he is a new mature adult that can be considerate and thoughtful of everyone else is confusing to her that he has truly changed. But can they feel the young love they once did and carve themselves into a happy, caring family?

THE KIDNAPPED CHRISTMAS BRIDE is book three of the Taming of the Sheenans series and was one of those stories that I couldn't put down once started until that very last page was turned. It is refreshing to read of a young love that is so strong it can last through the worst of times. I really loved this read and would definitely recommend it to anyone that wants a true emotional love story that will leave you feeling warm and fuzzy for a time to come. I have not had the pleasure of reading any works from Jane Porter but can assure you, THE KIDNAPPED CHRISTMA BRIDE will not be the last. I love her style of writing and the terrific plot.
