Years before a lie between the O'Rileys and the Hyatts created a feud between the families. Hyatt took over the market. The O'Riley market was left ½ to Piper and ½ to Cade with specific stipulations in hopes of ending the long time feud. Searching for proof that Richard Hyatt didn't cheat Piper's father to steal the market, Cade and Piper can't ignore the sizzle between them. Hot sex is the ultimate conclusion, but does love make everything right again?

Another installment in the Donovan Brothers novels has me dying to read all the previous ones. From the minute I picked CHASING THE RUNAWAY BRIDE up I had to fight myself to put it back down again. Witty, funny, emotional and completely captivating as well as a tender love story riddled with secrets and hidden truths. I challenge anyone to start this book without absolutely falling in love with the characters of this small town. I have not had the pleasure of reading any of Susan Meier's works but will certainly make it a point to search them out in the future. A very talented woman to say the least.
