Jacqueline is a free lance writer for science magazines. Jacqueline had a very sad childhood. Her mother was mentally abusive, her father sexually abusive. Both parents died in a fire when she was ten years old. The only one that truly cared about her was her grandma. The only thing missing from her life was someone to love. Though all of this, Jacqueline pulled herself up and became a writer.

One of her big assignments will be attending workshops and interviews at conferences where some of the great biologists are. Enter Dr Randall Atwater. They met by accident outside of the terminal. Both of them heading in the same direction and with rain pouring down, they share a ride to the hotel.

What starts out as an interview for Jacqueline turns into a twisted tail, THE PERFECT AFFAIR... hardly. Jacqueline becomes obsessed with Randall, showing up at every conference that he is at. At times Randall is very happy to see her, at other times, he blows her off. Jacqueline feels that it is his wife Shellie standing in her way. This is not going to stop Jacqueline, she will do what she has to, and Randall is going to be hers.

Lutishia Lovely has filled THE PEREFECT AFFAIR with a lot of twist and turns. This is one of the few books that I have read that I was really stunned by the turn of events. I did not figure out what was going on until close to the end of the book. THE PERFECT AFFAIR is the kind of book that any one who likes mystery mixed some steamy romance will enjoy.

THE PERFECT AFFAIR is the first in a new series by Lutishia Lovely. I personally can not wait for the next two. I have a feeling that they are going to be even better than this one.
